SUCCESS OF OUR OPEN DAY

It’s been a pretty hectic couple of months and we’ve recently celebrated our 4 Year Anniversary. We were extremely pleased with the success of our Open Day. Many of our clients helped celebrate (with a bacon buttie and bubby!) and we were thrilled with the presentation Roy Oxley, President IDHEE provided. He explained how our clients are extending their knowledge of all things renewable and in turn, offering their own customers a more complete service and giving them the chance to save money whilst reducing their carbon footprint. With a mix of high profile clients, funding bodies and local companies attending ECTA it was definitely a day worth celebrating. Thanks to all who took part and we look forward to the next one!!

ENVIROLINK EXHIBITION 25th June 2009

We attended a Conference at the Manchester United Conference Suites on 25th and were pleasantly surprised at the attendance. Over 400 people visited our Stand, which just goes to show that there are plenty of people out there interested in “all things renewable”. Our Portfolio of Courses was well received, and whilst we already have an excellent reputation with Gas/Electrical clients we are also keeping ahead of the game by remaining the only training company in the North West with access to a wide range of renewable energy accredited courses Solar Hot Water, Ground/Air Source Heat Pump, Part L Energy Efficiency, Under Floor Heating, Rainwater Harvesting and under one roof.

The positive response to this list of exciting courses is definitely a step in the right direction. Everyone’s talking about reducing their carbon footprint (some not knowing quite how to go about it!) and many high profile large company have big budgets to significantly reduce their carbon footprint, whereas the types of courses we are able to offer can assist small and medium sized companies in keeping ahead of the game. Opening of new site

ECTA are proud to announce the opening of their new state of the art Gas, Electric & Renewable Energy Training Centre. Based in Central Stockport, the new centre is being officially opened by Andrew Gwynne MP on 26th September 08, and will offer a comprehensive range of training on Renewable Energy Systems, as well as the more traditional courses such as Domestic & Commercial Gas, Oil and Electrics.
Managing Director David Berry says “The importance of renewable energy is well known, but there are still not enough properly trained engineers available to install it. We should be aiming for engineers trained in all aspects of heating in order that they can offer their customers an informed view of the best and most energy efficient way of heating their homes. Renewable Energy use will never reach its potential in this country without the expert knowledge of the engineers that are selling and installing it.”

David has so far been to Germany and Italy to improve his knowledge of the sector, and ECTA have invested heavily in their new Renewable Energy training facility. “It is our aim to give installers a very high quality training programme, covering every aspect they might need” says Kerry-Anne Berry, ECTA’s Business Manager, “There is no doubt that with the rising cost of gas that homeowners will be looking for ways to reduce their bills, and will be considering other options when it comes to replacing their current heating system. Our courses offer our clients the opportunity to capitalize on this changing market.”
